FAUNA OF THE NORTH POLE

The incredibles adaptations, particularities and beauty of the north pole animals are the best reason to protect them.


Adaptations of polar animals are very evident in the morphological level, from the color of the coat, until your metabolism has been modified to withstand the very strong conditions to  difference from many other animals and organisms in the world.
The white furs, dark skins and thick feet are some of the specializations that these animals have suffered, these are the result of the convergence of evolutive characters and specific evolutionary pressure.
The arctic animals have undergone a modification in their metabolism and they can adapted to survive extended periods of drought and hungry, so that in periods of abundance are able to collect and consume a huge amount of food.

is the representavite animal of these place, the are the biggest carnivore of the world.
